Terms of service

NomaPhone is a service of SOFTWARY S.R.L., an Italian limited liability company with registered office at Via Giovanni Porzio F11, 80143 Napoli (NA), Italy, VAT number IT10580571213. Contact: [email protected].

The service

NomaPhone lets you place outgoing voice calls from your browser to landlines and mobiles in the countries listed on the rates table. It does not give you a phone number and does not receive calls.

Coins and credit

Credit is bought in prepaid amounts, in US dollars, taxes included. It is tied to a phone card code that works like cash: whoever holds the code can use the credit. Credit does not expire. Calls are billed by the second at the rates published when the call starts; each call lasts at most 30 minutes.

Refunds

You can ask at any time, free of charge, for a refund of your unused credit with the “Refund unused credit” button under your card. The refund only goes back to the original payment method, starting from the most recent purchase, and usually arrives within 5-10 business days. Your card stays valid and can be topped up again. If a payment can no longer be refunded by the card network, usually after a few months, the credit stays on the card: write to [email protected] with your card code and we will return it another way.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service for harassment, scams, robocalls or bulk calling, or any unlawful activity. In case of abuse or a payment dispute the card can be blocked.

Emergencies

NomaPhone cannot call emergency numbers. In an emergency, use a regular phone.

Availability

The service depends on your internet connection, your device's microphone and third-party providers. A call that does not connect is not charged.
